Fishman at Crossroads Guitar Festival
Fishman is proud to be a sponsor of Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival 2010.
Crossroads Guitar Festival 2010 will take place on Saturday, June 26 at Toyota Park in Chicago.
The following artists are confirmed to participate in this unique event to benefit Crossroads Centre Antigua:
Albert Lee, Allman Brothers Band, BB King, Bert Jansch, Buddy Guy, David Hidalgo and Cesar Rosas of Los Lobos, Doyle Bramhall II, Earl Klugh, Eric Clapton, Gary Clark Jr., Hubert Sumlin, James Burton, Jeff Beck, Jimmie Vaughan, Joe Bonamassa, John Mayer, Johnny Winter, Jonny Lang, Keb' Mo', Pino Daniele, Robert Cray, Robert Randolph, Sheryl Crow, Sonny Landreth, Stefan Grossman, Steve Winwood, Vince Gill, and ZZ Top.

Back by enormous popular demand at the 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival will be The Guitar Center Village at Crossroads. Appealing to musicians and fans alike, the Village will feature over twenty guitar-centric exhibitors, including the finest guitar manufacturers on the planet, as well as the best amplification and gear brands. In addition to hosting the Village, Guitar Center is bringing its infamous Legends Collection of famous vintage guitars, including Clapton's awe-inspiring "Blackie" Fender Stratocaster and Gibson ES-335, Stevie Ray Vaughn's iconic Strat "Lenny", and a stellar collection of must-see rarities. Get in line early to see these amazing guitars, as the Legends Collection will be one of the most popular exhibits in the Village.
Another great attraction at the Village will be the Ernie Ball Stage, from which a series of Master Guitar Clinics will run continuously from 10:00 a.m. to mid-afternoon. Among the main stage performers who have agreed to conduct a clinic are Albert Lee, Bert Jansch, Joe Bonamassa, Robert Randolph, Sonny Landreth, and Stefan Grossman, and and blues legends HoneyBoy Edwards and Hubert Sumlin. (Clinics subject to change.) The winner of the "Ernie Ball Play Crossroads" contest for unsigned musicians, The Ryan McGarvey Band, will also get a chance to shine on the Ernie Ball Stage. This promises to be one of the highlights of the Village experience, and don't be surprised if you see other main stage artists standing in the crowd taking in the clinics during the day.
Individual exhibitors in the Village will showcase their products and offer hands-on demonstrations, including interactive displays and plug and play opportunities. In addition, one Village exhibitor will be offering an exclusive sneak peek of a very cool new, interactive music video game, before it is released to the public, that promises to give those guitar and band games a run for their money. We can't tell you the game's name, yet --- it's still a secret, but you can find out when you get to the Village and be among the first people in the world to see a demo.
Be sure to check out the Crossroads raffle as you move from tent to tent in Guitar Center Village. Yes! You can enter to win any of the amazing prizes below for as little as $2 apiece (or $10 for six tickets). And, you can purchase as many tickets as you like and enter to win as many of the prizes as you like. It's entirely up to you! Raffle tickets can be purchased as you enter Guitar Center Village and at the Raffle Booth next to the T-Mobile tent. All winners will be notified by the phone number they provide on their raffle tickets and can pick up their raffle items at East Guest Services between 7 PM and 11 PM. All proceeds going to the Crossroads Centre at Antigua.
Of course, specially marked merchandise tents in the Village will be carrying an array of official Crossroads Guitar Festival gear, including t-shirts, hats, tote bags, key chains, and another numbered, limited edition silk screen print. The prints sell out every year, so you will want to get yours early. And, when you get hungry, a tasty menu of food and beverages, based on a "Taste of Chicago" theme, will be located throughout the Village.
Finally and importantly, key personnel from the Crossroads Centre at Antigua will be on site in the Village to provide confidential information on the Centre's world-renowned rehabilitation and treatment services for those suffering from addictive behaviors. You can also find out how to get involved and support the Crossroads Foundation beyond the festival, a cause that Eric has called the most important work of his life.
The Guitar Center Village at Crossroads will be located at the main entrance of Toyota Park. Gates officially open at 10:00 a.m. but might open sooner, so come early and enjoy the Village until 6:00 p.m. All Village exhibits, Master Guitar Clinics and performances are free to everyone lucky enough to have a ticket to the Crossroads Guitar Festival.
