Wilmington, MA––Fishman set new records for sales at Winter NAMM 2005 in Anaheim, writing more business than at any other show in its history by offering more solutions for serious acoustic musicians.

Fishman has increased its U.S. sales force and redistributed its territories for maximum effectiveness, while also providing its dealers with increased in store training and merchandising opportunities to grow their businesses through co-op advertising. A new poster/product guide which will be shipped in its own point-of-purchase display highlighting the newest Fishman Products was also well received by dealers.

Fishman’s On Board Aura OEM business is growing exponentially with several companies including CF Martin, Ibanez, CA and others. Other companies to prominently feature Fishman Transducers as added value include Fender, Cort, Rainsong, Walden and others. No other pickup manufacturer comes close to Fishman in this area of endeavor.

The company’s new Loudbox Performer completes the Fishman family of popular acoustic amplifiers and represented the size, power and features that customers are looking for. The amplifier was prominently featured at booths for NAMM Exhibitors such as C.F. Martin, Avalon, Alhambra, Walden Guitars, Rainsong, D’Addario, DiMarzio, Tom Anderson and others.

Fishman also awarded MBT International as U.S. Distributor of the Year Award for exceptional service and support, Kief Music Limited in Canada as International Distributor of the Year, and Music 1,2,3 as Dealer of the Year.

Artists such as Multi-Instrumentalist and Fishman Clinician Harvey Reid, Nashville Artist Andra Moran, Janna Jacoby (violinist for Rod Stewart), Jeff “Skunk” Baxter, Leland Sklar, Al Kooper and others were seen checking out the new products at the Fishman Booth.
