Wilmington, MA – Fishman Transducers, the leader in acoustic amplification, has introduced an online Video Quick-Start series for the award-winning Aura Acoustic Imaging Blender™ to provide users with an introductory step-by-step tutorial.  Aura users can now see how easy it is to make their plugged-in acoustic instrument sound amazing on stage or in a studio.

Hosted by musician, producer, and Fishman clinician Seth Connelly, the series features four online segments (viewable with Windows Media Player or Flash). The first segment is an introduction by Seth, who explains the goals of the video training series.

In the next segment, Connelly demonstrates the features and controls on the Aura™ and gives a brief overview of on-board features such as program setup, tuner and feedback control.

The third segment guides you though the simple steps of connecting the Aura™ and playing through one of the 16 factory preset programs that come with it. After Seth selects a program to use, he explains how to set input and output levels as well as the on-board tuner. The video closes with a short demonstration of how the Aura™ sounds right out of the box.

The last segment, “Customize a New Program,” shows users how to get the most out of the Aura™ experience. Seth demonstrates how to edit a program using the different parameter settings and then save it in one of 50 custom program locations. Using the parameter wheel, he selects a sound image to use with the program and adjusts the EQ, blend, phase, compression, and level settings. Once the parameters are set, he saves the program and is ready to play.
