Wilmington, MA – Acoustic Guitar magazine recently paid a visit to Fishman to get a closer view of the company’s new directions in acoustic guitar amplification.

The magazine’s Associate Editor Dan Gabel, Senior Gear Editor Teja Gerken, and Advertising Manager Brannan Willson spent the day touring the factory and getting an exclusive peak at Fishman’s first new product release for 2006.

Of special interest was Fishman’s in-house recording studio where Larry Fishman personally recorded Gerken’s guitar and created six Aura custom sound images using some of the most popular high-end studio microphones.

AG’s respected Gear Editor got a hands-on demonstration on how images are created and a tutorial on Sound Imaging Technology, which, unlike modeling, allows instruments to sound like they naturally would in a pro-quality studio – instead of sounding like a totally different instrument altogether.
