Most AFX effects pedals include a footswitch that lets you bypass the effect. You press the footswitch to hear the effect then press again to bypass the effect.
For most acoustic guitar situations, buffered bypass is preferred and usually offers the cleanest signal. Set the Bypass switch to Buffer to for this option.
A relay-switched True bypass option is also featured that, when activated by pressing the footswitch, essentially removes the pedal’s electronics from your signal path. Set the Bypass switch to True to use this option.
Set the Bypass switch to Buffer to have your signal pass through the pedal’s internal active electronics when the footswitch is pressed.
