Below are a few examples showing how the AFX Pocket Blender combines signals. On the right side of the diagram is an illustration of two tones coming into the pedal: a low tone on the Tip (black), and a high tone on the Ring (orange).
The left side of the diagram shows how the signals are combined for each of the A and B footswitch positions.
Notice how the Input Mixer faders are set for each example.



Example: Dual Source Boost
Here, the Rare Earth Mic Blend is connected to the AFX PocketBlender using a TRS cable.
- Mix A is set with equal amounts of magnetic pickup and microphone
- Mix B is set with more magnetic pickup for a solo boost that keeps the mic signal low to reduce the possibility of feedback
