Colten Phillips is the lead guitar player for the Boston-based pop-metal group Major Moment. Inspired by the likes of metal guitar titans like Dan Donegan (Disturbed), Mark Tremonti (Alter Bridge, Creed), and Mike Stringer (Spiritbox), Colten tries to attach his metal roots in every style of music he plays. Growing up, he played in local bands ranging from indie to worship to pop punk before joining Major Moment. He opened up Louder Than Life 2023 with the band and has seen their song “Toxic” receive significant rotation on Sirius XM Octane.
“I just want people to know they’re loved by any means necessary. Music has always been my avenue to convey that.”
“I have always loved the sound of Fishman pickups; they’ve always cut so well through both studio recordings and live mixes. You will find no better pickups on the market for the amount of versatility they provide.”
