Combining elements of Folk, Bluegrass, Jazz and Classical music to create dynamic basslines and lyrical solos, Jeremy Darrow is one of the most versatile double-bassists in acoustic music. He has performed and recorded with a diverse list of top artists including Josh Joplin, Tim O’Brien, Red June and many more.
An International Bluegrass Music Association award nominee, his taste, tone and feel have made him an in-demand sideman, teacher and clinician. In addition to playing with Bluegrass chart-toppers Detour and a busy freelance schedule, Jeremy makes regular appearances on Nashville’s Music City Roots and has appeared on the Grand Ole Opry, at the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, Merlefest, and New Orleans Jazz Fest.
