Justin Schut

Justin Schut is a metal guitarist from the Netherlands, known for his work with Dutch power metal band Martyr and hard rock/metal band Phrasing.

From the early 2000’s he has played in bands such as Under Destruction, Scorched Earth and Keflar, contributing to the Dutch metal scene. In 2023 he became the lead guitarist for Martyr, bringing fresh energy to the band’s dynamic. His debut performance with Martyr was noted for its enthusiasm, with fans praising his contribution. Schut’s guitar work is characterized by strong melodies, rapid riffs, and technical proficiency, aligning with Martyr’s traditional heavy metal approach. His style complements the band’s legacy, which includes cult classics like ‘For The Universe’ (1985) and ‘Darkness At Time’s Edge’ (1986).
