An experienced German guitarist, guitar teacher, songwriter, and producer, Marc Zobel has more than two decades of experience in the world of guitar. His musical journey is marked by a wide range of accomplishments, including international tours and notable musical projects. He has consistently displayed musical versatility, participating in various bands spanning from Top 40 cover music to the realm of Black Metal.

A pinnacle of his career was his active role in the album “Metamorphosis” by the German post-black metal band Agrypnie. From 2018 to 2021, he served as a live guitarist and studio bassist. Marc Zobel contributed not only to the recording but also to the songwriting, leading to a remarkable Top30 placement on the German album charts. The album also garnered exceptional reviews from specialized press, such as Metal Hammer Germany (Top Ten of Black Metal Releases 2021).

Since the beginning of 2023, Marc Zobel’s musical journey has led him to become the lead guitarist and songwriter for the renowned German symphonic black metal band Agathodaemon, signed to Napalm Records. Established in 1995, this band has played numerous international tours over the years, released albums, and graced numerous stages at prominent festivals.
