Hourly Rate: $21.00 – $23.00

Job Description: The Quality control (QC) technician inspects tests, and monitors raw materials, to ensure they meet strict company, industry, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect Products: Examine raw materials, parts, for defects or damage.
• Perform Tests: Use specialized measurement tools, gauges, and lab equipment to test item specifications.
• Record Data: Document test results, track defect rates, and maintain accurate compliance logs.
• Reject Non-Conforming Items: Set aside defective items that fail to meet standards.
• Collaborate on Fixes: Report issues to supervisors
• Maintain Safety: Keep workstations clean and follow workplace health and safety rules

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or a quality role.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to spot small flaws and record precise numerical data.
• Technical Skills: Comfortable using measuring tools such as calipers and rulers, must be proficient using computers. Machine shop experience preferred
• Communication: Clear verbal and written skills to report findings to the team.
