New Jersey native Billy Wilkins is a singer, guitarist, songwriter, and producer. After spending his early years performing at bars and clubs in the tri-state area and establishing a name for himself locally, Wilkins moved on to spend a year at Berklee College of Music studying performance. However, it wasn’t long before he decided to leave school and pursue a career in music on his own. When the pandemic struck in 2020, Billy shifted his focus to becoming a content creator on social media platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, and Instagram, gaining popularity from his videos. During this time, a viral video of Wilkins performing “Through the Fire and Flames” gained the attention of the world-renowned power metal band DragonForce, who shortly after recruited Billy as a touring guitarist and background vocalist. After spending several years touring with other acts and honing his own unique sound, Billy is creating a name for himself with his own music, taking influences from rock, pop, metal, and electronic music. “I love to play a lot of different styles of music so having a pickup that offers the variety and clarity that the Fluence pickups do is a must.
