Glasswaves

Glasswaves is a genre-blending dark pop, alternative rock, and modern metalcore band rooted in Rochester. Known for fusing cinematic atmosphere with heavy, emotionally charged instrumentation, the band has quickly built momentum through a powerful live presence and striking sonic identity. In 2025, they gained national recognition after winning the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands, earning a mainstage performance at Warped Tour, a milestone that helped solidify their reputation as a rising force in the alternative heavy scene.

Glasswaves continues to push boundaries with a sound that balances haunting melodies, crushing riffs, and modern production. The band’s lineup features Noah Rich (vocals), Owen Miller (guitar), and Brendan Curtis (bass), each bringing distinct influences that shape the group’s dynamic and evolving identity. With new music on the horizon, Glasswaves is carving out its place among the next generation of heavy alternative artists.
