Mordy Ferber

New York guitarist and composer Mordy Ferber is known for blending intricate melodies, jazz improvisation, and a distinctive guitar style. He was named one of the 350 greatest jazz guitarists of all time in Scott Yanow’s The Great Jazz Guitarists: The Ultimate Guide.

Ferber has performed and recorded with renowned artists including Michael Brecker, Jack DeJohnette, Eddie Gomez, Peter Erskine, Dave Liebman, Donny McCaslin, Richard Bona, Larry Coryell, and many others.

With more than 35 years of teaching experience, Ferber has taught at NYU, Berklee College of Music, The New School, and other institutions. His compositions have also appeared in television and film, including The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Everybody Loves Raymond.
