Mychal Soto – Peeling Flesh

PeelingFlesh is an American slam deathcore band from Oklahoma known for blending crushing slam riffs, hip-hop-inspired samples, and an unapologetically aggressive sound. Since forming in 2021, the band has built a dedicated following through a steady stream of releases, energetic live performances, and a distinctive approach that bridges underground slam brutality with modern deathcore influences.

PeelingFlesh debuted in 2021 with Slamaholics Mixtape, followed later that year by Winter Mixtape Promo. In 2022, they released the EP Human Pudding, continuing to gain momentum with their raw production style and relentless heaviness. Their 2023 EP PF Radio further expanded their audience and helped establish the band's growing presence within the extreme metal community. Later that year, they released Slamaholics, Vol. 2.

To celebrate three years as a band, PeelingFlesh released the compilation 3 Year Peeling Spree in 2024, collecting material from their early catalog. Later that year, they issued their debut full-length album, The G Code, further solidifying their reputation as one of the most talked-about acts in modern slam and deathcore.

In 2025, the band released their sophomore full-length album, PF Radio 2, and performed at major festivals including Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival. The following year, PeelingFlesh was announced as part of the lineup for Louder Than Life, continuing their rapid rise and bringing their signature blend of slam, groove, and high-energy performance to an ever-growing audience.
