Our goal as a company is to provide you, the acoustic musician, with the best possible acoustic sound every time you plug in and play. We’ve been developing innovative amplification products for 40 years, so you can feel confident that your Fishman gear will provide you with true live sound and trouble-free use for years to come.

 

Your complete satisfaction is very important to us. In the unlikely event that your Fishman product requires service, our in-house representatives will be happy to resolve any issue you may have.

What is covered under the manufacturer’s warranty?

Fishman Transducers Inc. products are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. For customers within the United States, parts and labor are warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Any Product outside the scope of this warranty will be subject to labor and material fees.

For customers outside of the United States, any necessary product repairs or replacements must be facilitated through the authorized dealer from whom the product was originally purchased. Fishman products sold and delivered outside the U.S. are subject to warranty terms as specified by Fishman’s authorized regional distributor. Please contact the dealer where you purchased your product for more information on warranty coverage in your region.

Am I permitted to make repairs myself without voiding the warranty?

You are permitted to perform any repairs published on fishman.com or provided by a customer support representative. Many issues can be resolved with a few troubleshooting steps. Please contact our customer support for assistance.

If my Fishman product is damaged, is it covered under warranty?

Manufacturing defects are covered under Fishman’s warranty. However, damage to a Fishman product because of mishandling is not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. There is a repair charge plus return shipping for non-warranty repairs.

Are there any charges if the product is found to have no defect?

Before any return, customers will be given troubleshooting instructions. These often include verifying the battery, cable connections, proper installation, or proper usage. Double checking the provided instructions is the best way to avoid any additional charges.

If the product returned and no issue is found, or a provided troubleshooting step is skipped, there is a $50 fee plus shipping costs.

If the Product fails to function properly due to defects in materials or workmanship during the first year warranty period, Fishman Transducers Inc. (“Fishman”), at its option, will repair or replace the Product, at no charge for labor or materials. Any Product outside the scope of this warranty will be subject to labor and material fees.

Any necessary product repairs or replacements must be facilitated through the authorized dealer from whom the Product was originally purchased. Fishman products sold and delivered outside the U.S. are subject to warranty terms as specified by Fishman’s authorized regional distributor. EXCEPT AS SPECIFICALLY PROVIDED IN THIS DOCUMENT, THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL FISHMAN BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF PROFITS OR INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER SIMILAR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR OTHER OBLIGATION CONTAINED IN THIS DOCUMENT. THE WARRANTY CONTAINED HEREIN SHALL NOT APPLY IF THE SERIAL NUMBER IS DEFACED OR REMOVED OR THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN DAMAGED BY ALTERATION, MISUSE, ACCIDENT, NEGLECT OR USE WITH UNAUTHORIZED ATTACHMENTS.

Terms of Warranty Service

Warranty service and repairs must be performed exclusively at the Fishman factory. Unauthorized repairs will void this warranty. Customers must contact Fishman Service & Support to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping the product to Fishman, at their own expense. Products repaired at the Fishman factory during the first year of the warranty period will be shipped back to the customer at Fishman’s expense, to any location within the continental United States. For products repaired at the Fishman factory after the first year of the warranty period, return shipping will be at the customer’s expense. Products returned to Fishman that are not covered by this warranty will only be serviced once payment arrangements have been made.

WARRANTY REGISTRATION

Fishman does not require the registration below to receive the warranty service terms outlined above. Proof of purchase (a receipt) will be required to be produced by the original consumer purchaser at the time of a warranty service request, regardless of the warranty registration status. Registering your product below is optional, and does not replace the need for proof of purchase at the time of a service request.
